Challenge Based Learning

What is Challenge Based Learning?

Challenge Based Learning is a collaborative and hands-on framework that asks students to work with other students, their teachers, and experts in their communities and around the world to develop deeper knowledge of the subjects they are studying. Students have to identify and solve real world challenges as well as present their solutions to their community.

Challenge Based Learning provides an efficient and effective framework for deep and meaningful learning while solving real-world Challenges. As they are doing this they are developing 21st century skills, sharing their experience with their community, and entering into a global discussion about important social issues. At the end of the learning process students are expected to publish their findings and solution.
