Blended Learning

What is Blended Learning?

Blended Learning is a pedagogical model whereby student’s learns at least part of their course through the delivery of content and instruction via digital and online media. The online elements are supplemented with face-to-face learning and teaching activities that allow the students to ensure their understanding of syllabus concepts and ideas. Many students enjoy Blended Learning as they believe they can get more work completed in less time.

Blended Learning also incorporates some element of student control over time, place, path and or pace. Most schools would incorporate elements of some form of blended learning in their everyday classroom practice especially those schools that have BYOD or an online learning portal like Microsoft OneNote or Google Classroom or other Learning Management Systems.
